PathClear is a wellness support application designed to assist individuals on their addiction recovery journey. The App provides tools for tracking progress, managing cravings, journaling, goal setting, and accessing AI-powered insights and companionship.

PathClear is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is intended for wellness support purposes only.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or treatment.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced in the App.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
The AI companion and insights features provide general wellness support and should not be considered medical or therapeutic advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PathClear. If you are under 18, you should use the App with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Your Account

You may use PathClear with an anonymous device-based account or register with an email address and password. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PathClear to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
Use the AI companion to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PathClear — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by PathClear and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content and data you submit to PathClear. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the App's features and services, subject to your consent preferences and our Privacy Policy.

8. AI-Generated Content

PathClear uses artificial intelligence to generate insights, reflections, activity recommendations, and companion responses. This AI-generated content:

Is provided for informational and supportive purposes only
Should not be considered medical, therapeutic, or professional advice
May not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation
Is generated based on anonymized data and general recovery principles

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PathClear and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PathClear is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Termination

You may stop using PathClear and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of PathClear after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PathClear operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
